• He did his M.Sc. in Mathematics and B.A. (Philosophy & Theology), M.A. Sociology and earned his doctorate in Mathematics.
• As a Chaplain to Asia–Pacific International Movement of Catholic Students (IMCS-Pax Romana), he has animated and served as a resource person in many workshops and seminars.
• He served as a Superior of Arul Anandar College in Madurai and as a Rector of Loyola College. He was also the Dean and a Professor of Foundation Courses and Human Excellence.
• He is an educationalist, an able administrator, a good organiser and a creative youth trainer.
• He has successfully organised and conducted many state, national and Asia-Pacific level seminars, workshops and creative art workshops and has also collaborated with international student/youth organisations.
